Hi!
If you’ve made it this far, thank you. That in itself means something.
Beneath the Blueprint wasn’t built overnight. It came together slowly, like most meaningful things do. At its core, this has always been a space shaped by attention. Not just to what’s grand or urgent, but to what’s quiet.
Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing essays, memories, travel pieces, photo stories, and cultural reflections, all rooted in Nepali life. We’re also opening the doors to a few new things. Our student writing program Ten Tales with BTB is one of them. It's a ten-week guided journey for those who want to write but maybe never knew where to begin. There will be prompts, feedback and gentle guidance. But more than that, there will be space to try, remember and write things down for the first time.
We’ll be sharing these stories not only on our website but also on all our social media so they can reach those who need them. If you’re someone who reads to feel less alone or writes to understand yourself better, we hope you’ll follow along.
And because storytelling is rarely a solitary act, we’re also open to collaborations. If you're working on something meaningful, whether you're a student, a small local brand or an educator, we'd love to hear from you. Maybe it’s a zine, an online series, a public exhibit or a storytelling workshop. Maybe it's a quiet walk through a neighborhood, cameras in hand. We collaborate on non-commercial features, writing projects, neighborhood events, cultural research and educational work that resonates with what we do. If it sounds like it fits, we’ll find a way to co-create.
If you’ve been holding a story close, unsure when to share it, this might be the right moment.
In gratitude,
BTB Editors
